One of the most important ways to increase your Combat Rating is to find and equip Legendary Gems. Charms are rewarded by completing your daily Battle Passes, and also sometimes sold from the Hilts Trader. Normal Gems are most easily gained by searching for Hidden Lairs that appear periodically in every zone each day, until you hit the daily cap and no longer get Normal Gems for completing the tasks (and secondary tasks) in the Hidden Lairs.Ī simple yet effective item, Charms can be gained as rewards and equipped at Level 56 to slightly increase the power of your skills, earning you a small bit of Combat Rating in the process. You can also upgrade the quality of the gems by combining 3 of the same type to get a better rarity, which will in turn bolster its effects. These include things like Rubies, Sapphires, Topaz, and the like, and bolster different ratings like damage, health, and armor - and will slowly increase your Combat Rating as they become socketed.
Your main gear (Head, Chest, Shoulder, Legs, Weapon, Off-Hand) will eventually need Legendary Gems, but your secondary gear (Amulets, Rings, Gloves, Belts, Boots) will only take Normal Gems. You can get gear by doing pretty much anything in Diablo Immortal - questing, doing the story, raiding, doing events, rifts, and more!Īs you acquire better gear, you'll start finding many of it with sockets in them to insert gems. Seek out uncommon, and then rare gear (Before you start finding Legendaries as your endgame gear) and always look for gear that has a green arrow indicating it will have a better rating than what you have currently equipped.Įven the same type of gear can have different variations - some may boost three different attributes, or bolster 2 different attributes with better numbers, and you should always equip these ones. The better level, better rarity, and better effects of all gear you will get will slowly but surely improve your Combat Rating as you go from level 1 to 60. Easily the most basic and easy to improve as you level up is simply getting better gear.
